WELCOME TO THE FUTURE

Our wine is about time.

It’s about time for a fine wine from Oregon to expand the paradigm of what’s considered age-able, evolutionary, collectible, and, ultimately, timeless. Our intention is to support the potential for limitless expansion of a singular wine.

We have found a single vineyard Cabernet Franc source in Southern Oregon that is arguably the most important site of its kind in this country. We source the entire micro block for our exclusive, rare wine.

Our story is based on ancestry and the past, and from that perspective we are
the living future of eight lineages, two of which have converged to honor our father’s mothers, the Thorson and Parish mother lines.

Our winemaker uses time as her primary tool in crafting ethereal and graceful Cabernet Franc with stoic yet intuitive consideration for time on the vine, time on the skins, time for lengthening fermentations, time in the barrel, and time in the bottle before release.

Time is always our guiding principle and it is as dynamic and complex as gravity and expansion in the universe when contemplating this wine through its evolution.

Integration over time is what makes legendary wine.

To that end, we are creating a unique expression of fine wine by honoring a place, a time, and an intention toward the future with our craft that endeavors meticulousness, precision and distinction. Our micro lot of single vineyard Cabernet Franc is unlike anything you will find anywhere. It is always made with minimal intervention and consciousness in regenerative platforms for the good of our planet and with deep consideration for the good of future generations.

We support the consumption of this wine not just in moderation but for serious curiosity and contemplation. To support healthy outcomes for everyone, we limit the number of bottles we make available for the individual consumer. This is part of our ethos toward a regenerative business model and world.

Thorson Parish is the paternal mother line lineages honored through the marriage of fourth generation Oregonian and tenth generation winemaker Leah Jorgensen and third generation Oregonian and twelfth generation merchant Asa Jean.

How do I get a future allocation of Thorson Parish?
We would be honored to count you among the very first collectors of Thorson Parish Cabernet Franc.

This list is extremely restricted due to the scarcity of bottles made and limited availability for purchase. Please add your name to our list and we will let you know if you will be able to purchase from the first vintage. Please know this is not about maliciously blocking anyone or indulging in pretension. We produce less than 150 cases of wine annually, thus the rare factor is driving the exclusivity. Thank you for understanding and for having good faith in what we are able to create and share.
